This seminar is tailored for the "Everyday Woman", Makeup Hobbyist, Makeup Enthusiast or anyone who simply wants to learn how to elevate their makeup skills. This seminar will cover both basic and advanced makeup techniques for all skill sets. The topics covered will be personalized to the guests attending. No topic is off limits—whether it be false lash application, highlighting and contouring techniques, eyeshadow techniques or simply how to choose the proper foundation formula finish, coverage and brand specifically personalized to your needs, wants and budget. This is a seminar style class so no items are required to bring with you.
PMU Microblading / Powder Brow Certification Workshop

AUGUST 25-26, 2025
The first half of day 1 of this workshop will summarize all basic theory and fundamental information-- Fitzpatrick Scaling System and skin tonality classification, PMU (Permanent Makeup) Color Wheel, Pigmentology and how to choose the correct pigment colors and formulas, contraindications and consent forms, pre and post care, health department standards of sanitation and PPE (proper protective equipment), licensing/permits/insurance. The primary focus of this workshop is practical training with a heavy concentration on machines and strokes, proper stretching and needles. Multiple specialty techniques and styles will be introduced and implemented for practice on latex. The last day of the workshop will include 2 live models—the instructor model and hands-on student model that will be provided by PMUSchoolVA.
Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) Certification Workshop

September 11-13, 2025
This workshop will cover all theory regarding skin and hair anatomy, scalp conditions, types of and reasons for hair loss, various hair loss treatment options, ideal clients for the procedure, contraindications, different hair lines/patterns for both men and women, scar corrections, workstation set up, pre and post care, consultations, medical records and consent forms, choosing pigment brands and colors in conjunction with the Fitzpatrick Scaling System, how to modify pigment colors if needed, color correction techniques and proper neutralization methodology, understanding the distinction between different machines and their strokes, full discussion of all needle types, sizes, tapers and configurations outlined for every style of SMP procedure. Hands-on practical exercises will be included. Instructor demo model will be utilized. *If available, a student model for all students to practice on collectively will be utilized.

The primary focus of this workshop is practical training with a heavy concentration on machine hairstrokes, proper stretching, machine stroke lengths, appropriate needles and multiple pattern choices. In depth discussions on Manual (Microblading) vs. Machine (Nanobrow) hairstroke techniques vs. Combination (hairstroke + shading) techniques—the differences and appropriate use. Multiple specialty techniques and styles will be introduced and implemented for practice on latex. The last day of the workshop may include hands on collective training on 2 live models (1 instructor and 1 student model) that will be provided by PMUSchoolVA.
